  • Crunchy snack that actually does taste a bit like pizza.

Trader Joe’s Nothing but Fruit & Nuts:

  • I’m unable to attach a link to these, but they are worth trying out!
  • They’re sold at Trader Joe’s and sell out fast.
  • I like them because there are only two ingredients & calories range between 60-70 per serving.
  • My favorite one is the Date, Hazelnut, and Cacao (chocolate).

 

Rhythm Beet Chips

  • These are great for that crispy crunch craving.
  • You can eat as many as you want guilt free!
  • Beware- everything will be red the next day.
  • You can buy at Whole Foods or online at Thrive Market.

Rhythm Kale Chips

  • These are Vegan, Gluten Free, Organic, and NON GMO.
  • They come in many different flavors.

Natural Delights Coconut Date Rolls & Limited edition Pumpkin Pie Spice

  • Love these! They are naturally sweet and loaded with magnesium.
  • NON GMO, gluten free, and vegan.
  • Find this at select stores and online.
  • If you can’t find this brand, you can go to Whole Foods and look in the bins. They have another version of this, and it tastes very similar.

  • They’re fabulous!
  • Look for them in the grocery store or buy online.

 

Jackson’s Honest Sweet Potato Chips

  • They’re made with coconut oil (not with GMO Canola oil).
  • NON GMO Verified
  • Can buy in select stores and on thrive market.

 

Plain Jaynes Sweet Potato Chips

  • They’re made with sunflower oil (not with GMO Canola oil).
  • NON GMO, Kosher, Vegan, and nut free.
  • You can buy online or find in select stores.

 

I won’t buy snacks that have:

  1. Grains- I follow mostly a Plant based Paleo diet, so I avoid grains as much as possible. Relax, I’m still human and splurge on pizza and bread sometimes!
  2. Soy- I avoid as much as possible. I find soy to be very inflammatory & it does not agree with my body. Soy has been linked to causing endocrine (hormonal) imbalances. Lot’s of controversy about soy these days, so always listen to your body.
  3. Animal milk- I won’t buy it, if there’s any type of animal milk product in it. With so many plant based milk options available, why not skip out on all the added fat, steroids, and hormones found in cows milk? Did you know that cows milk (butter, cheese, ice-cream, yogurt, etc) has been linked to causing cancer and it’s well known that it causes high cholesterol.
  4. Canola Oil- most canola oil is GMO and not good for your body.
  5. Fructose- this is GMO and not good for your body.
